    Update: Well after a month of use, not full use but enough, I would have to say this is not going to be the best purchase around. The volume for this speaker no longer goes to its full potential and the battery life is about 2 hours at the most before having to plug it back in.
    Original post: For the sale price, cannot beat it. I paid a good price and I can finally hear bluetooth in my garage. The old radio tuner was just not my thing anymore. It was so easy to connect to my phone and my brother in law did the same. The size is just right and makes it versatile to travel with.

    I love(d) it!! So much better than my phone for listening to music, while I’m writing or exercising at home. Today, it stopped working, so I charged it for several hours. When I started it up again, the silly lights turned on but NO SOUND!!! Grrrrrr. I will search for instructions to remedy the problem, but since I have a writing deadline tonight, I am pretty annoyed.

    It was good while it lasted. I was using the speaker this weekend when it started chiming. I realized it was the rechargeable battery was not charging anymore. There is no way to change the battery. I looked in the owner’s manual and there is nothing on how to change the battery. I purchased it on October 20,2024 and I’m writing this on June 16, 2025. That’s not very long.

    I give a rating of 2 because this speaker will not show up on your phone to see what the battery level is!! I¡¯ve never had a Bluetooth device not show the power level so you have to guess when to charge it, not worth the price in my opinion.

    I believe I purchased this product about a year ago or so…?… Used it three times. The first time it was outdoors (in 2024) and it worked GREAT. It provided good, clear sound and connected to bluetooth seamlessly. The second time the bluetooth was great, but the volume had decreased for some reason (there were a few months in-between due to long-term travel). The third time was last week, April 26, 2025 and the bluetooth stopped working. The product was never in the rain, though it is waterproof. It was only used three times bc I travel a lot for work and am gone months at a time. This is simply my experience and your experience can be different (and better). I do LOVE the hot red color!

    Holy moly does this little speaker work well! I’m a massage therapist and use this in a room with a very noisy window AC unit. It is loud enough to be heard over the AC and that’s only turning the volume up a little bit.
    And the sound quality is amazing for such a small speaker. It totally surpasses my older Alexa dot quality, and unlike my older speakers, this is wireless and I can take it to my mobile appointments as well.
    I’m definitely giving it a thumbs up!

    I have tried this item twice now and both times they broke in a strange way the on off broke and so you can’t turn it off you have to wait for it to die which takes days also the volume no mater where it was set on e it breaks is at 100….its really odd.

    As Bluetooth speakers go, this is great for the price. It’s not going to give you the deep bass like bigger speakers, but it still packs a punch. The battery life is great and charging is quick. It’s easy to use, and fits in your hand or whatever bag you carry, the music playback is long and the quality is acceptable, it would be best for small rooms, but it’s versatile enough for outdoor gatherings. The highs have good range and the lows are ok. It’s very functional.

    Controls on the top and the setup was easy. I’m going to get another to pair them for surround sound where applicable.

    Already better than the speakers in my laptop i could have it cranked to 100 on the laptop and still barely hear what I have playing. It was a no brainer to set up once I got it out of the box. Only thing that bugged me was that I couldn’t tell what percent the battery was at and that I couldn’t rename the device but those are small things. Would buy again

    Bought two of these and really liked them. One of the speakers stopped charging and the charge light blinks red every five seconds. There is zero support available from the company (no contact info at all). It’s six months old so it is not available for an Walmart return. Walmart product page has a link to view warranty info, but that lands on a defunct page.

    UPDATE: The company reached out and asked me to describe the issue. When I did they offered to send a replacement unit. BolaButty gets an A+++ for customer service.

    I am pleased with the CHIFENCHY Portable Bluetooth Speaker. The only negative feature is that the controls – power, increase and decrease sound, are the same black color as the speaker and are very hard to see. I actually just discovered there is a Pause button that I couldn’t see before.

    Recently had to replace my shower speaker because it wasn’t holding a charge. Saw that this was on sale, so I gave it a try. Wow, what a difference! For one thing, this holds a charge much longer than my old one ever did. The sound is great coming out of it and the buttons on the top help me to adjust volume or forward to the next song or replay the last one … the only drawback is that it is quite heavy which, if you got it to carry around, could be annoying. Mine sits on a shelf, so no worries there. I ended up buying a second one for my office so that I can annoy my co-workers. Highly recommend!

    Its a very good sounding Bluetooth speaker for the price and size. My only issue that I have with it is the power cord is very very short, and it does not come with a power cube. So I had to search my house to see if I had a spare from a old phone to plug it in. Sadly this is becoming the norm. When you buy something you should get all the things needed to operate it. Who would buy a car without tires to drive it away?

    Great little speaker. These speakers really shine when they are paired with 2 speakers. The TWS feature is amazing and make them seem much bigger than they really are. I have tried JBLs, Skullcandy, soundcore and a lot of other small speakers and these are at the minimum as good but, most generally better than the others.

    The only real negative that I have so far is that, they seem to charge a little slower than I would have liked, they don’t transmit battery level and the lanyards are kind of a cheap afterthought. Being this small I would assume that most people would want to be able to attach them to bags. The tiny little thread that is what attaches the lanyards to the body of the speaker is dubious at best and will most likely fail in short order.

    The lighting effect is kind of a gimmick but, I just turned it off.

    Other than that these are what you want for a small inexpensive even possibly disposable bt speakers.

    Speed of charging is very subjective and I know that I’m a very impatient person in that aspect.

    So I really suppose my knock of one star is due to the units inability to show battery level and the potentially super weak lanyards.

    These are honestly pretty good for little guys. I bought the pair for tws. Unfortunately this is where my one missing star comes in. I followed the instructions to a T, and they would not connect to each other. I contacted the seller, and they gave me the same instructions. I did some digging online, and found a different set of instructions, so if anyone has the same problem as me, try this:

    Unpair both speakers from your phone, and reset the speakers by holding the power button.

    Turn the speakers on and double press the pause/play button to link the speakers together.

    THEN connect the speakers to your phone.

    Hope this helps someone avoid the aggravation I went through. Other than that they sound decent and have good battery life. Never been a fan of the seizure lights, but you can disable them. TWS is nice as you can expand the sound field without raising the volume. Haven’t tested the “water proof” claim as I’m willing to bet it’s more of a water resistant deal – would be fine if it rained on them a bit, but I wouldn’t dunk them in a pool. Good value overall.

    No battery indicator when using bluetooth so absolutely no way to know what the charge level is. When the battery starts to run low, it emits a loud and annoying beep very frequently. If you’re listening to something it becomes unusable quickly. Again, having no way to know how much charge the device has, you’re stuck carrying around a charging cable or constantly plugging this thing in when not in use which takes away the whole point of a mobile speaker.

    Based on the reviews I was really excited to like this speaker. It arrived today and I eagerly opened it and connected it to my phone. The price was right so I thought I found a decent inexpensive speaker.

    Unfortunately… I was hoping for more. Basically, I got a $20 speaker which in fairness is what I paid for. The problem is that there’s virtually no base. They tried to make up for it with the lights on the sides which is visually appealing however… For me, a speaker is all about the sound and this simply did not deliver.

    I have a couple of JBL charge speakers which I love. I also have bose micro sound link that is fantastic.

    I purchased this speaker to put on my boat to replace my JBL charge 3 that has a blown woofer. The problem is that even with the blown woofer, the old charge 3 still sounds better than this product.

    I’m giving it five stars though because if you’re looking for a cheap speaker and you don’t really care that much about bass then this might be just fine. It’s not going to cut it for me though.

    Everytime you want to use it, you have to pair it again. You cant just push play on something and start playing audio, you’ll have to turn it on and then pair it with bluetooth, again. Everytime you want to use it you have to pair it keep using it or it’ll power off automatically…and upon powering up, a light show starts as its standard mode – its pretty obnoxious. If you dont want the light show, you have to click the light button about 5 times, scrolling through each color individuality to turn off the lights completely, and that’s every single time you turn it on, which, compounds with the fact that it turns itself off after a few minutes of not listening to anything…oh, you paused your podcast? so then you have to turn it back on again, repair it, and turn off the light show…again.

    It was okay for maybe a month. It dies quickly and consistently, even if it’s fully charged. Now when I need it to die, because the power button just decided to stop working, it won’t die. It’s been beeping for at least 12 hours now. I play music for a half hour on a full charge, though, and it’s ready to die. Ugh.

    The sound of the speaker is great! I only gave it a 3 star so far because I am unable to thread the lanyard that comes with it through. Honestly, that’s one of the reasons I wanted this style. I’ve tried threading through both ends…I’ve tried using a toothpick to help finish getting it back up and through Unfortunately, it just doesn’t come out. If anyone has any tricks for putting that on, please let me know!
    I have sent a message to the seller. Hopefully they get back to me with a resolution.
    Update: They haven’t gotten back to me yet, but in case anyone else has the issue, just use a safety pin. It was able to pull it up.

    I bought two because someone reviewing said it made them really pop. They do. Thry hold charge fairly well and sound great. I use them in my suoer koud jeep on the highway and i can acrually hear the music as they blow away the original jeep sound system. The only knock is that the lights come automatically so you have to shut them.off every time you turn it on as they are pretty useless. I will probably buy more to keep full time in the jeep and one set for the homestead… good luck

    Purchased this for the price and review ratings. The lights and ability to change them or turn them off is a nice function. Turns off and on easily. Pairs to phones easily. However, the sound sounds muffled and is not nearly as loud as I would like it to be. I use this for my bathroom so it does the job for a small area but do not recommend if you are looking for good sound/bass. But the price makes it worth it.

    My speaker accidentally fell into a freshwater reservoir, I grabbed it out within a few seconds, but it had been fully submerged.     Very good sound. I bought another brand and the sound was very tinny (like it was coming out of a tin can). I could not get it to pair with my Samsung A51, however. But since I really only need it for my computer, I am happy with it. Also, my last external speaker wouldn’t allow me to hook into Zoom, but this model does. I would purchase again.

    The blue tooth from my PC works fine with my ear pods, but when running the same music from my PC to the speaker, the music cuts out at one second intervals, because I confirmed there are no issues using blue tooth from PC to my ear pods, I have to shift the blame on the speaker. The speaker only cost around $20 so you get what you paid for as far as quality.

    I purchased this particular speaker for the size, portability and bluetooth. I’m happy with the sound quality.
    I’m visually impaired with low vision due to diabetic retinopothy, so I would prefer the function buttons to be a different color than the body so I can see them better but I’ll paint them white for better contrast.
    The speaker was on sale for 33% off, so it’s a great value for the price.
    The reason I gave it 5 stars is simply because the lack contrasting colors on the function buttons. I have low vision due to diabetes.

    I can’t believe how good this speaker is! I’m not an expert on speakers but! The sound quality is excellent. It pairs very fast to whatever you’re pairing it with. My son always purchases the high-end Bluetooth speakers like Bose or Sony or beats. And I’ll tell you I think this sounds just as good but I’m not a professional.

    Got two of these, one for each of my kids to use as a music player for in the shower (so they don’t spend too much time in there). They are TINY but actually put out some pretty good tunes. You can put a sd card in so you don’t have to connect them to Bluetooth all the time which is a huge plus.

    Update – One annoying thing I’ve discovered is that when using a sd card for the music it will turn on at full volume and start playing right away. It’s not a huge deal since it’s not a very loud speaker, but is pretty disruptive.

    Update – all of a sudden it worked again. Back to 5 stars.
    It’s lasted 8 months, it is inexpensive, but I’m still disappointed. One day a couple weeks ago my phone stopped being able to connect to it. So I tried my old phone, nope. I’ve tried 7 devices, none can connect to it (or “see” it).
    Went back to my old 6 year old Altec Lansing BT speaker – works…

    As the title states, this little speaker is great for the price, but it lacks immersive sound quality, especially bass. I bought two of these for the True Wireless Stereo (TWS) experience and they certainly kick out a decent amount of sound for the price. To be honest, I considered keeping them instead of returning them. However, I ran across another brand that blew these speakers away in terms of immersive sound quality for only a few dollars more. Honestly, I’m a sucker for enriched sound quality with all the subtle differences in high to mid to low range sounds that only your ears can truly put to the test, and for me… this product just didn’t meet my expectations. However, they are good to go in terms of Bluetooth connectivity, functionality, ease of use, and build quality. In the end, if you can live without the deep immersive sound and just need something simple at a low price, these may be the speakers for you.

    I like that it is compact with both wired and BT connections with decent sound. Both connection types work well and you can turn off all the fancy LED colors for a plain black speaker.
    I use this as an external speaker for a 13 inch TV in our kitchen. I use the wired audio in connection.

    My only complaint is that when you turn it off and then turn it on again you have to select the aux in connection manually. So I am leaving it turned on and connected to a power source that comes on once a day for 3 hours to recharge the battery.

Excellent build quality, appears to be water resistance but have not rigorously tested it.. Battery lasts for hours, but have not run it down all the way to find out how long.     Coming back almost a year later to review this, because people need the truth. LOL this speaker is awesome, with one big caveat. It’s too loud. Seriously. I never knew I’d complain about something like that, but the lowest volume setting on this speaker is too high. If you want to use it for music to work to, or ambiance for a chill social gathering, or anything *other than* rocking out, forget about it. It’s simply too loud.

    Sound quality is great. I love this thing, but it turns out I have experienced enough frustrations with the volume that I felt the world needed to know! Wish it were a little more versatile so I could use it in quieter settings too.

    The speaker is small and portable, and super easy to connect and use. The lights of the speaker do not sync up to the beat of the music you play though, but that is fine. The speaker’s distortion is great for bass and loud music.

    But why the 5 stars? The BIGGEST DOWNSIDE to the speaker is the battery life AND the beeps warning for low battery. The speaker plays a beep or two to warn that is on low battery, and it does this every 3 or 5 minutes, which is super annoying. Even with the lights turned off, the battery doesn’t last that long, maybe 5 or 6 hours max.

    For playing music during a shower or other things, it is worth the money. But for constant use? No.

    This little speaker charges quickly, holds a good charge for hours and hours, and very easily connects to all of my bluetooth devices. It never seems to get disconnected either, unless of course that’s what I want.

    All in all, this is a great little bluetooth speaker. It’s definitely small enought that it’s suitable for packing for travel, for your hotel room, cruise ship stateroom, the beach, or even camping. You can also hang it from your backpack if you’d like. And even though it’s small, it’s got good weight to it so it sits nice and steady without easily falling over.

    The little flashing light display show it has is cute and all, but it’s not a big feature to me. You can always turn the light off.

    I did remove one star simply because it doesn’t throw out a ton of bass, but even so, it sounds great for it’s size.

    In addition, the price for this unit will fit nearly everyone’s budget.

    I accidentally ran over a good Soundcore speaker this weekend while trying to retrieve it from beneath my car…Since I had a pair that I use for stereo sound, I figured I’d just replace the speaker I crushed…So, I went on Walmart and searched for bluetooth speakers for Android and, these little speakers popped up on the first page…At first, I discounted the idea of a speaker selling for less than $20.00….I thought they’d be junk…But, after reading scores of positive reviews, I took the plunge…What a deal!!! The sound is full and, if you like volume, these will take it!!!! The only problem I had, was pairing both speakers for stereo sound….I did everything the instructions said to the letter with no success….I was almost ready to send them back to Walmart when, I stumbled upon the answer….Once the first speaker is paired and playing, keep the scanning function of your bluetooth on and keep pressing the “pause and play” button on the unpaired speaker…Voilla!!! That did it…Great little speaker and, on the plus side, sized very economically…I would have given these a 5 star rating if it weren’t for the difficulty in pairing both speakers….

    Only reason this is one star is because there is no 0-star option!? Why is it that low, oh let me count the ways!
    Has two settings in volume control (stereo and hands-free AG audio.)? and both are terrible in their own unique ways.??
    The?hands-free AG audio quality is muffled and can’t get any louder than what my laptop can get.? Whereas Stereo is indeed decently loud, it is constantly cutting out and skipping making it unlistenable, and after spending around two days fiddling with my computer to see if I could fix the problem I have come to the conclusion that this is just a piece of garbage.? Oh, and the cherry on top one time this thing would not let me turn it off, had to let the battery run out for it to “work” normally.??

    I got this to replace the super old speaker I got over a decade ago that uses a very out of date USB connector I can’t find the cable for anymore. It’s easy to set up and it’s very compact, so it’s easily portable, but the sound isn’t the greatest. It can go pretty loud, but it’s heavy on the mids. Not the most amazing Bluetooth speaker I’ve ever encountered but it’ll do the job while I’m working around the house. I’ll update my review if my experience changes.

I use it for music therapy for special needs adults, and they love the sound and it shows buy their active participation. We use instruments, sing and dance, its my favorite part of the week.

    These things are truly amazing! The other reviews aren’t lying, these little things rock! For their size the sound is really good, even maxed out there was no distortion or crackling at all. Don’t expect amazing bass, but for their size they pack a decent punch! Battery seems good, I used them basically all day long from like noon to probably midnight and they were still going strong! The lights are pretty cool! Connecting it toy phone was effortless, so was pairing on speaker to the other. The AUX input is so great, and getting to be so rare these days, it’s specifically why I bought these.
    I’m using them with my iPad, and my Hercules DJ control mix for an extremely mobile full DJ setup that literally fits in a small backpack. I snagged a pair of 10,000mah power banks as well, with those connected to the speakers you could literally go until you pass out!

    Very good buy, well worth the money! More than enough for small to medium house parties, backyard get togethers and more!

In the past all of the other speakers have connected with no problems, I have used two particular brands they usually last me a year to a year and a half.     These were cheap and easy to setup/use. The sound quality is not great however. There is a lot of buzz/rattle especially with songs with more bass. I tried using an EQ to drop out some of the tones that these speakers can’t handle, but it just sounds bad. Not much volume either. I am pretty picky about my music, so I don’t enjoy using these.

    I bought two of these speakers, to pair with one another and have one at each end of my 1600 sq foot house – so I could have music/podcast whole house without blasting the living room speaker. they seemed to work fine, paired, at that distance with walls between them – but if I walked between them, it was as if I was cutting the invisible sound stream – it would cut out.
    when I tried just one speaker, playing a podcast, it was cutting out also. I tried the podcast without the bluetooth speaker and there was no problem. I’m not keeping these speakers.

    Honestly, the only issue I have had with this speaker is that it is just a little quieter than I would like. I use it in a vehicle with no stereo and no AC, so sometimes driving in the summer with the windows down leaves the sound just a bit unclear in competition with the wind. To be fair, my 32-year-old ears still understand everything being said (podcasts, mostly), so it is just a small thing. Other than that, we keep it in the car all the time, and it charges fine through a USB in the vehicle and has never had issues with either cold (down to about 0 F) or heat (up to just over 100 F). It is easy to connect via Bluetooth and easy to operate. Almost perfect.

    I had the w-king d8, unfortunately I dropped it down the steps and it stopped connecting to Bluetooth. This speaker was loud and clear and had great bass. This speaker based on other reviewers had bass and was clear. Unless my speakers are defective, they are neither clear or have bass. The sound to me is muffled. I have used a jbl charge 3 and w-king d8 mentioned before, those were clear, this one just isn’t.
    The only thing that saves it is that they can link up with another speaker with the tws function. Once paired with each other, the volume and lights sync. Also, if you turn one off, they both turn off. That could be a pro and a con.

    I just needed a basic small speaker with aux input and USBC charging and got this. I quickly connected it and I was disappointed with the sound stage. It sounds just very flat. I bought the Oontz in 2018 which sounds better for around the same price point but it’s a micro USB. Functionally and aesthetically, it’s nice with the LED lights as a bonus.
    I just wanted something a bit more fuller with some additional high frequency, but this speaker came up short. Looks like it’s going back.

    My car radio stopped working so I have the speakers bungeed to the head rest in my car and they work great for close-up stereo sound while driving, using the Bluetooth signal & phone apps. The only drawback is that the bass does not come through very well but the sound is okay, not tinny. If I run inside a store, they shut off automatically after several minutes but you do have to turn them on again when you come back to the car or within range of the phone -which is not a problem. I charge them in the house overnight and in general I would say they were very good value for the cost. Very happy with them and they definitely solved my problem without paying a fortune to have a mechanic take my dashboard apart to fix the radio in the car.

    I love this speaker. I teach at a high school and we play music in our labs everyday. It is each to connect to phone or laptop, and the sound is good. The volume control on the side is a little tricky but overall it is a great speaker especially for the price. I have used this speaker almost everyday for over a year and it is great. It still holds a charge and I rarely have to charge it. Be advised that the charger is a usb charger so no plug to go into the outlet.

    Editing my review after realizing you can only pair this speaker with one device at a time, so if I want to play music from my iPhone I first have to disconnect the speaker from my iPad. That may not sound like such a hassle but it takes time to go into settings every time I want to switch devices. That said, it has good sound. A lot of power for its size and the sound wraps almost all the way around which is great. Could use a little more bass but still mostly happy with it.

    I never write reviews but had to about this speaker. Less the 4 months of use and the bluetooth connection vanished. What a disappointment. Too late to return and no way to try to fix it. It’s just another piece of junk for the landfill.

    My only issue is the lights (which I consider a gimmick) default to ON when you turn it on. Since you dramatically lose battery life when the lights are on, I consider this a bug.     If you just want to use this to make your computer or phone audio better or louder, this works fine. And it won’t roll downhill like the speakers that are shaped like hotdogs. But there are 2 fatal flaws for me:

    1. If you connect the speaker to your computer and your computer is linked with your phone and someone calls you, it doesn’t matter if your phone is on silent mode. The speaker will SHOUT at you, “Incoming call. Incoming call. Incoming call,” in an awful, robotic voice until you answer or decline the call. Sometimes, it will keep shouting long after you missed the call until you turn the whole thing off. There you might be, listening to music and rocking your baby to sleep, and then just when you’re almost ready to put them down, “INCOMING CALL. INCOMING CALL. INCOMING CALL,” followed by “WAAAAHHHHHHH” from baby and a string of expletives from you.

    2. As enthusiastic it is about incoming calls, it is utterly useless if you accept one. The microphone is totally ineffective. Nobody can hear me at all.

    I am giving 3 Stars because of only the battery life and it keeps interrupting when the is battery low (Or may be something else because there is not battery indicator to show the battery percentage). Overall this is great. It’s got nice base, It sounds good, the buttons work well, and you can skip/reverse tracks, you can turn on / off the lights as well. But the most important thing is it doesn’t stay charged very long. I have to charge it everyday after listening to it for about 2 hours.

    I love that it is waterproof and it is functional for all the reasons I have. Except it does not pulse to the beat of the music, only a set of synchronized light pulses adjustable by clicking the power button. Other than that, the audio does not work well if I make calls off of it, but I usually only use the speaker for listening to music. I can hear them but they cannot hear me, and if I turn the speaker off it ends the call completely, even if I have disconnected from the speaker before I took the call. Great speaker though.

    So I’m not saying this is the best speaker out there but for under $50 It’s definitely worth the purchase if you are looking for something affordable and decent it’s got pretty good sound better than other ones that cost around same price maybe a little more to the point that I had lost my other one and purchased it again after looking everywhere and not being able to find ( then 3 days later it magically appeared lol) it even lasts around 20 hours between charges..     Works well enough. However, the edges around the top are like razor sharp. It cut my kids finger very badly. Unfortunately, we’re throwing it away because we can’t return it.
