    I love this little device. I love music and this little speaker is just perfect for me to listen to in the craft room or outside doing yard work or anyplace. I put all of my very favorite songs onto a thumb drive and listen forever. It’s simple to operate, the sound is excellent. I use it constantly it’s so handy. I eventually copied my songs to a micro Scan Disc which this device also accepts and that made things even better (with no thumb drive sticking out the back). The only suggestion I would mention to the manufacturer is that all the buttons are completely black rubber material with indentations indicating the choices; on/off, volume up/down and next song/previous song. It’s hard to see unless you have the light just right on the buttons. Sometimes I have to pick the device up to see which button to push. Maybe other people or younger people would remember what the order of the buttons is, but I can’ seem to, so I have to really look at it. I might emphasize that this button issue would not prevent me from buying this item again, if fact I’m getting one for my sister and brother. I love it THAT much!

    Speaker itself is slightly below average. No bass, decent mids and highs. My problem with this speaker is the blatant lie that it is a 30 watt speaker. No way in hell. My JBL Charge 3 is a 30 watt speaker and that sounds amazing. This thing is barely louder than my 12 watt Tribit Xsound. Bass is non existent. Paid $30 for this joke of a speaker. I’ll gladly pay a few more bucks for a speaker from a company that doesn’t insult the intelligence of its customers.

    My husband purchased 2 for himself and 1 for me. Mine isn’t as loud and the battery doesn’t last nearly as long as either of his.
    I tried to pair two of them and it doesn’t work. It made the pairing sound but nothing happened. I tried playing music only one would play. I tried connecting one of his to mine and nothing worked, not even the pairing sound. I purchased a cord to connect two and nothing happened.
    So I tried connecting all 3 to my phone, Google Pixel Fold, I can only Bluetooth connect two at a time and only one will play at a time. I did learn that Google pixel phones, at least the one I have, does not connect to more than one Bluetooth device at a time, as expensive as these phones are, that sucks!
    As for the individual speakers, they do play nicely. The other two batteries last pretty long and it’s nice to be able to switch them out when one dies, but I hate that they do not connect to each other
    Anyway, I wish I would have tried to connect them sooner, I would’ve returned them

    Had the speaker on my cooler playing songs off the flash drive. Went to grab it and it slipped out of my hand and landed on the dock next to cooler. The speaker would not play the flash drive after that. But the blue tooth still works.

    I don’t have any issues with this speaker; it connects quickly, it doesn’t make my tote bag too heavy if I want to take it on the go & it’s distortion-free at a high volume.

    Even though pretty much the entire thing looks like “speaker mesh”, the sound does not come out of the entire speaker. You can tell the difference if you happen to rest it with the speaker side down onto a table, chair, etc., the sound is muffled.

    I am happy with it but I’ve found better in the same price range which is why I only gave it 5 stars.

    I ordered another one after a year because I was so impressed with the one I had . It has plenty of volume for my electric bike and sounds great. If one runs low on battery I always have the other one charged. Plus if I’m hanging around outside I can pair them together for true stereo sound. I love this speaker and would highly recommend it.

    Works great, for a short time. After a little over a year my speaker rapidly starting failing. First the AUX/Headphone jack became dislodged and pushed inside the device never to be retrieved. Then the when charging the speaker the red charge light went out, indicating the device was charged. What actually happened is the speak is now a paperweight brick. It no longer works. It will not turn on, it will not charge and it appears there is no way to repair it. On average I used the speaker about once or twice a week so I got about 50 to 60 uses out of it before it stopped working. I never had the device outside, never got it wet and it was always in a climate controlled environment. I realize it’s not an expensive or high end device but I wasn’t that impressed.

    The speaker is a great improvement from what I had before, the original model of the Anker Soundcore. You can add quality by placing this speaker in a disposable cooking pan set vertically, acting as a satellite dish, directing the sound to the listener.

    I only tested BT, and while it’s surprisingly loud for the size, and bassy (well, at least upper-bassy), it sounded thin and boxy. Ended up returning it, and buying the “Rockville RPB25” which is actually cheaper, sounds better, although it’s roughly twice as long.

    Bluetooth hookup worked with my iphone 6S (an elder unit).

    Maybes:

    Never could get the sound adjusted. I’m gonna chalk that up to “user-error” — however, it makes the item relatively useless to me.

    Cons:

    It’s heavy to be portable, as in carrying along on a daytrip. It’s portable in the sense that you can pick it up in one hand, not bulky as compared to a regular speaker, wireless and move it around.

    Instruction booklet states: “Battery Level: Double click Power button” — when I do that on the device there is no indicator light, not red, not green not orange — and it has charged for over 3 hours.

    The side edges where the Rienok logo is pulsate with differing colors. I find that distracting.

    It makes blurping noises when turned on, off … not something I want nor need.

Plays music of USB flash drive and easy to pair with my computer and ipad. Few buttons and simple to operate. Battery hasn’t run out yet.     Nice speaker, feels good to the touch. It is loud and sound is balance and the bass button give it a little more low frequency . It’s nothing to shout about but it get the job done. The battery last a couple hours depending on how loud you play it. Since I started to charge it I notice the battery % only charges to 90% and stop , I never goes to 100%. I don’t know why it doesn’t go to 100% so it a concern for me. Therefore I give it 5 stars. Other than that it’s not a bad speaker for the price

    I totally love this speaker. I mostly bought it so I could pair it to the TV in the living room, then when I’m working in the kitchen, I don’t have to miss out on the movie, news, or whatever is showing. It is wonderful for that!
    However, it “skips” about every 7-10 seconds. Quite annoying. I’m guessing perhaps it has a defect somewhere, but I don’t know how to reach the seller. If it didn’t skip so often (especially annoying if listening to music), I would give it 5 stars. It’s easy to use, sounds great, easy to set up. It’s great except for the skipping.

    This item met my needs and beyond. For the money, it was worth it. It accepts a SD card in which I loaded music to it. Above that, it takes a USB flash drive and I play my music from there as well. Have not tried out the Bluetooth feature. Sound quality is awesome. I gave this a 4 star as the volume control aspect puts it too loud to too soft. It takes finessing to get the volume to an attenable level. Other than the volume situation, awesome sound and the small compact size allows me to place it in a cup holder in my older car with a broken radio and in the cup holder in my golf push cart. This item sits vertical and not horizontal. If placed horizontal, it may roll away.

    This thing has been dropped in a river twice, at one point it even was dripping water and going static and all that, but 24 hours it was going perfectly again.     I am a bit perplexed by the positive reviews of this Bluetooth speaker (and, oddly, by some of the negative ones, too). A fair percentage of people rave about the sound quality… sorry, it’s just not very good. The sound is thin, there isn’t a lot of bass (at least at lower volume levels, if you’re going to run it at 95% all the time, maybe you’ll be happier), and the dispersion isn’t very good. It’s just about adequate (for $30, I decided to keep it — but it makes me long for the sound quality of my Walmart Echo, which I don’t want to unplug and take out on the patio when I want to listen).

    On the other hand, there are quite a few reviews grumping about battery life — this I don’t get, either. I listened for several hours, several days in a row, at low volume levels, and the battery indicator still was pegged at 80%. Battery life appears to be a long suit here.

    Overall, I wouldn’t buy it again, but I also didn’t return it. If battery life is important to you, this might be a good speaker for you. If you’re fussy about sound quality, it probably isn’t.

    First, I expected loud. Not! On my PC with both volumes all the way up and it’s just what I would call normal sound. Second, it won’t play sound thru the BlueStacks app. I get sound with Big Fish app, but not BlueStacks. I even set an Allow button in my settings that’s supposed to allow apps to use that speaker. No luck. So it won’t work for my PC. It’s pretty expensive for it, but I decided I’d try it with my Echo. It does connect but the sound again, isn’t that loud. And the Bass button does nothing. Or maybe it’s more accurate to say I noticed no difference. Could be the songs, I tried it on several. And I can’t tell when it’s fully charged. A couple reviewers said it took an hour to fully charge. It’s been on for several house and the light is still red. You are supposed to be able to double press the power button to check the battery level but, again, nothing happened??? I’ll try it for awhile with the Echo but I will probably be returning this. For the money, all the buttons should work.

    I bought 2 of these specifically for the dual stereo mode which does not work at all. I attempted to use Walmart customer service…which was a cluster f*** and laughable for the entertainment value. The directions clearly say how to pair the two devices by holding the + and – at the same time. This is the equivalent of telling your daughter that if she gets in the car and pumps the brake 36 times the oil change light will turn off. Youtube videos is useless. If you’re seeking for decent speaker it will work. If you’re wanting a product that does what it advertises….don’t buy it.

I gave 5 stars because the instructions didn’t say much about what format the music had to be, in order to play the songs. I tried downloading off my cd’s but the speaker could not detect the flash drive. My daughter found something online that said MP3 was the format that would work. Now I just need to convert all my songs so I can load them to a flash drive.

    It does have good sound response, and I guess it’s water resistant (haven’t tested that yet.) But, it just doesn’t have that loud volume shock value you might be expecting when you buy this thing. Yeah, it’s reasonably priced, but conventional details are missing, such as those battery level LEDs. Other than charging indicators, I expected them to give me a hit about the volume level but no, you have to guess at that. I start with clicking the negative sign (-) a bunch of times, then clicking the plus sign (+) five times for low volume, another five times for medium volume, and another five times for high volume. The color effects on the end caps are nice but entirely unnecessary. And whoever wrote the User Manual must have been high on Magic Mushrooms.

    I love this little speaker for the quality of sound and the volume. However, after about a year of use the battery life is about half of what I remember when I started out with it. Also there is a nifty little loop on it for attaching to a carabiner (I would put it on a rope and carry it over my shoulder), however this loop broke after about 9 months of use (not continuous). If you are looking for a solid alternative to the pricy speakers out there this one works great just be mindful of the durability concerns and be ready to charge it every time you are home with it after a while.

    I can’t even get the thing to work. I’m not some old fart who’s tech illiterate either. I want to use it with USB, all I get is a weird beep sound. The MP3s on the drive work just fine when not plugged into the speaker. I can’t get anything to play on this, just a weird beep sound. I also tried a TF card, and different sound formats. I haven’t tested the bluetooth functionality because that’s not what I want it for. Also, the instructions and button functionality are incredibly lackluster.

    When I bought this Bluetooth speaker, I was not expecting it to sound as good as it does. I really only use it to play Deep Brown Noise while sleeping. My JBL Flip Essential 2 that had the passive radiators on each side died on me so I was wanting a speaker that had those passive radiators because they really do help with the lower frequencies. This is a very good sounding speaker. Does it sound as good as my JBL did, certainly not, and I was not expecting it to. But it DOES sound way better than its price point implies. I can’t really tell what the charging speed is because there is no charge level indicator on the speaker (would have been nice but not a deal breaker and the reason for only 5 stars). I’m getting around 18 hours of play time out of it at around 60% volume. Not too shabby. It’s a little heavier and bigger than the JBL Flip product line but not overly so. If the unit only lasts me a year I will have gotten my money’s worth out of it because I do use it 56 hours a week. So at this price point, IF I have to replace it every year, it will take 4 years to equal the price of a JBL Flip and my JBL only lasted 2 years under heavey use.

    Pairs easily, quickly and reliably. I haven’t run it under a water faucet or anything to test the waterproofness of it, I’ll just take their word for it. 🙂 I would recommend this speaker.

Bluetooth works fine and was really easy to set up and link to my phone. The lights are a nice touch and add some atmosphere to the speaker while you listen to music. It seems to work fine with rain and water splashes. Overall a good product but if you want premium sound this one is not for you.

    This is not very clear and does not produce bass.
    It is ok if you just want to hear music not to really enjoy listening to music. It’s just above the sound coming out your TV. Honestly the sound from my Samsung fridge sounds better. The bass on the fridge is much better than this. This doesn’t have any whatsoever.
    Even the write up about this product by the manufacturer is misleading. I guess they trying to persuade you to buy. If you really want good quality spend the money and get something else. If you just want something to hear sounds this would be ok.
    Boo to anyone who mislead you and give this 5 star.
    Oh it does connect easily to Bluetooth and the battery last long. But that’s it

Followed the directions to a T and even got on YouTube but nothing worked . Even had my son try and he is very tech savvy and he couldn¡¯t get them to pair together.     I don’t often write product reviews but I want to warn purchasers because this item had great reviews.

    I didn’t open the RIENOK Portable Bluetooth Speaker box until 2.5 weeks after I got the speaker.

    After a week and a half of use, it refuses to charge again. I was able to charge it fine for the 10 days it worked.

    By the time it stopped charging, it was too late to return the product to Walmart. Now, I’m out $50 and don’t have a Bluetooth speaker again.

    Also, it says it is portable. I expected it to be smaller than it is.

The drunken clown that designed this unit decided that you should have someone stand in the back while you stand in front to listen. I mean all the controls in the back? AND BTW this is NOT USB-C! It just has a USB-C port! You MUST use their little cord or you’ll fry it! It can’t handle the actual 20 watts that usb-c puts out. Stu? meet Pid. Move along! It sounds decent, but thats not good enough if its 100% counterintuitive.

    The sound quality was not the best. It sounded a little muffled compared to my anker speaker but it wasn’t horrible. I bought this speaker in December 2023 and it quit charging by July 2024 so it lasted about 8 months. My anker speaker I bought a few years ago still works so I will be purchasing another one and really don’t recommend this one! If you’re not picky it might be fine but I just didn’t like it as well from the start.

If you set this on the highest volume setting (which is not that loud) and listen to music, after an hour it will tell you it¡¯s low battery and stop working even though it¡¯s plugged into a wall socket!! I used it at a pool party outdoors and I¡¯ve used it in my home when it was plugged in but in another room. Both times at the highest volume setting so it could be heard.     The metal plate at the top of the speaker adds a distortion to the sound. I’ve found putting something with a little weight on it smooths it out. (I use a Zippo) Still not bad for $20. Doesn’t have it’s own volume. Power bank function is pretty cool and works well.

The black one worked great, the gray one worked great for 2 days and then completely died for no reason; even the charging light wouldn’t come on. So I ordered a replacement…and guess what?     I use this in my steam room and link it to my Calm app and stream a soundscape. Really is relaxing and an awesome experience. Holds up to steam and water so far. I cant set the light to a solid color (only moves through a set color scheme). However its a minor issue for me.

    For only $30 you shouldn’t expect much anymore. This speaker worked for me for 2.5 winters. The sound was always slightly tinny and there were times that it would not connect to a phone… But it is better than having no music. In the end, I guess either the battery died and could not be charged, or the power button failed.

    I would like to know whether or not this item has a warranty before I open it up and see if it’s an easy repair.

    I ordered this speaker to listen to my audio books and music while in the shower. The included hanging string is like a short shoelace. I installed it and now the speaker hangs great from my double curtain shower hooks. My kids ask for me to play my music for them when they shower. I LUV the extra bass button and can really hear the difference. I would not hesitate to order this speaker again and it is a great little gem I would feel good about giving to loved ones as a gift.

    I like this speaker a lot more than I expected for the money. The amount of sound that it can produce is really impressive. The bass is pretty good as well. As compared to my brand-name speaker I would consider this one to be at least 90% as good in terms of sound quality. It may not be quite as good, but it’s also about 20% of the cost so I will still call that a win.

    I ordered this speaker to have an extra that I wouldn’t mind damaging beside the pool. I found that this speaker stands up flawlessly to large splashes and I even briefly dropped it in the water once with no damage. The speaker is sturdy and doesn’t fall over when set upright, unlike some other speakers that bounce around when the bass gets going. The lights I guess are ok, but I really don’t notice them during the day.

    My only issue with this speaker is the battery life when played at full volume. In my experience the battery lasts about 3-4 full hours with the volume all the way up and the “bass” function turned on. Granted, that’s pretty loud and I’m sure uses a good about of power, but my brand name speaker can last closer to 6 hours with the same setup. My other power issue is that you can not charge this speaker fast enough to just use it while it’s plugged in. It charges at 1Ah (same as really old smart phones) so it takes about twice as long to charge as it takes to deplete the battery. Also due to this charge rate, you can’t use a “high-speed” or “high voltage” USB charger that you probably have for your phone. I have to use the charger that came with a phone I had 8 years ago to get a slow enough charging speed. That’s a shame, because otherwise this is a great speaker and a high-quality alternative to the band name speakers that are clearly overpriced.

    I still recommend this speaker if you plan to have it near water and want pretty good sound with a low cost-point. I’ve used it at the beach too, and I didn’t have any issues with the sun’s heat or sand.

    I wanted a low cost speaker to use for yard work and to take to the pool. We have a community pool and in the morning we tend to be there alone. There is a sound system that get brought out when a lot of people are there, but when my kids and I are there on our own, I want something smaller than we can control on our own.

    I have not dropped it in the pool so far, but it has recieved a few splashes without a problem. It is a good enough speaker for our purposes. And based on the cost that is exactly what I was looking for. It sits on our front porch so my daughter can listen to music as she sits on our front porch swing. And then we grab it when we need it. I am not particularly concerned if someone walked off with it.

    The battery is good, an easy 15 hours or so. So for our use, it needs to be charged about every week to ten days. And it is a USB C which is becoming fairly standard, so I can find a spare charger at the pool or use the one in my car or even grab a battery pack if I don’t have time to charge it.

    I am appalled by incorrect wattage rating on this and others on Walmart that looks like this. This speaker is barely 5 watts at best. I have a 3 watt speaker that has similar performance or better. Walmart echo dot is way louder when compared with this.

    Updated review: I can’t tell if the compared output is a valid judgement anymore due to certain settings on my phone. Upgraded to 4 stars so it won’t affect the overall average for the product.

    The sound is incredible for such a small device. I bought a second one in black after buying the first one in blue. Both sound great. Top (silver part) actually vibrates if you are playing music with a lot of bass sounds. One HUGE thing I discovered is that if you have music downloaded to a thumb drive (this is why I purchased this particular speaker because it allows you to play music from a thumb drive)… is that the music you download MUST be recorded as MP3 format. This assumes you are ‘old school’ and have a lot of music still on CD’s that you have transfered to a thumb drive. If you download your CD via Windows Media Player make sure you go to 1. Tools, 2. Options 3. Rip Music – pull down option arrow and stop at MP3. 4. Hit ‘okay’. Now you are set! If the music you download is on another format (ie, not MP3) it may show on your thumb drive listing, but it will not play in this stereo. I think this is why there were some comments about the stereo ‘not working’. Again.. love this stereo player. Well worth the money.

    I wanted this because it plays music directly from a USB drive, so no bluetooth required, though it also does support Bluetooth. The sound is OK at lower volumes – you can’t expect a lot at that price. You CAN skip songs when playing from USB (despite what some reviewers said here). All in all, a terrific device for the price.

    I’ve had a pair of Sbode’s for four years and have enjoyed them, however the built in rechargeable batteries on all of these speakers tend to fail over time. Even worse, they’re not replaceable, so you really need to view this as a disposable item after 5 years or so. These Rienok speakers are very comparable to my old Sbode’s, both in sound and overall output. Like the Sbode’s, they’re waterproof, include an SD card slot and measure the same both in diameter and height. These do not include a built in FM receiver, which really doesn’t matter to me. The lights on both ends are cool, and it has a “Bass” button, which I guess is supposed to provide rich enveloping bass…LOL. In reality, it just tends to lower the highs and volume. If you’re going to buy this, buy two. One speaker isn’t enough to really provide the experience you’ll get from a stereo pair. Realize these are not going to be very powerful or loud, and in my experience that’s okay. I set one on each side of my chair and keep the volume at about the medium setting and it is truly enjoyable. I find them nice to have on the deck as well, at low volume so not to annoy my neighbors. Overall, as long as your expectations aren’t too high and you listen to them in close proximity, I think you’ll enjoy them. Just please don’t be that guy in the promo photo with this clipped on your backpack. If you are that guy and you camp near me in the quiet beautiful wilderness, you may go missing.

    The speaker seems to have a quality build and a decent sound. The only problem I really have with it is its extreme lack of bass. I use the word “extreme,” because even after turning on the Bass Boost AND maxing out the bass levels in my equalizer, there was still no real bass present. What made this sad is that I was listening to classical orchestral music. All I wanted was a solid low which supports the sound of the rest of the orchestra… and NOTHING! In terms of the rest of the sound (mids and highs), I was quite satisfied. I realize that this isn’t the highest end speaker, but for a speaker that claims to have bass, this was VERY disappointing. I will return and look for another.

    (If bass is not necessary for you, I think you might be satisfied. Again, it has a nice look, and the rest of the sound quality was very nice.)

    I like the sound from this bluetooth speaker. It’s clear even at higher volume. that being said, the bass boost is pretty much worthless. The bass you get with it to begin with is actually pretty good, but the bass boost doesn’t really do anything except make the bass a bit more muddy. I prefer my bass deep and punchy. Also the light option lacks a single light options. I only features an off, slow rotation of the lights or a fast rotation of the lights. I had expected it to have an option where you pressed and it settled on just one light and stayed there.
    Overall, this is a good speaker if you like to listen to music and/or movie from your pc. I’d buy another for a BT stereo set up if you could freeze the light on just one color.

    The instructions leave a lot to be desired! ¨C had I seen a copy of them first I would not have purchased this. Normally a definite ¡°red flag¡± for me with such imports.

    Instructions indicate that double clicking the Power/Mode Switch should switch functions from Bluetooth to Memory card to Aux audio cable input to USB [jump drive] to Radio.
    Bluetooth: worked OK for playing music from cell phone [didn¡¯t try hands free aspect since I didn¡¯t care about that]
    Memory card: music played OK from the card, but after removing it the message ¡°Music Mode¡± [supposedly indicating
    use of memory card] was heard, but music played from Jump Drive without double clicking to select the USB mode.
    Aux input from audio cable: did not try since I didn¡¯t care about that.
    USB mode: music played OK from jump drive
    Audio/Radio mode does not work: Supposed to be a Radio Mode, but never heard the ¡°Radio Mode¡± alert message
    and no stations were heard, nor did single-clicking to search automatically work.
    No way of seeing how much battery time remains. Instructions say ¡°When the battery is low, you will hear the tone ¡°low Battery Please Charge¡±, then please charge it.” Haven¡¯t heard it yet and don¡¯t know if that alert will work or how long the battery actually will last.

    Product information on Walmart says it¡¯s perfect for indoor or outdoor use, including fishing, but in one answered question, the manufacturer emphasizes it is not waterproof, so care should be taken with location and type of outdoor use.

    I bought this speaker over a year ago and I can¡¯t think how many times I¡¯ve been disappointed by it. It connects well, it seems to be of decent quality but it¡¯s always seems to be like the volume control is broke. It¡¯s just not loud enough. I¡¯ve had many Bluetooth speakers over the years and usually the input or something will break. I¡¯ll get another one. I¡¯ve had Sony, JBLs, generic types, so I know how to operate these things. My Echo is louder than this thing. I cant take it to the pool and hear anything really, I put it in my old Jeep, can barely hear it. I wouldn¡¯t buy one of these and spend the extra $.

    Purchased this speaker to replace a JBL Flip 3 with a dead battery. The Reinok works well so far. No issues with connecting or playing. However, the sound quality is not as rich as the JBL. There’s not much bass, mostly mid and high range tones and vocals. However, given the price, it’s good for those just looking for a cheap, portable, Bluetooth speaker.

    This speaker is compact and feels nice and solid. The sound quality is not going to wow you by any means but it gets the job done.

    It definitely has some annoyances as mentioned in some other reviews. The voice prompts that trigger when you first turn it on “Welcome to Zealot Products – Music Mode” are VERY loud and obnoxious as you can’t disable them. But what is really annoying, and why I wouldn’t recommend this speaker to everyone, is that if you are using it to play several hours of continuous music (in our case, white noise for the babies) the really loud “MUSIC MODE” voice prompt will occasionally interrupt the music. If you are using it for white noise to sleep, this will wake you up and make it useless for that purpose.

    If you are just using it casually to play music and/or have the need for AUX in and a micro-SD card slot, I would say take a look at this product. The size and build is definitely a plus. Otherwise, I’d say try looking elsewhere.

Once turned on, the blue light is on ready for bluetooth connection, which was easy as pie.

The mesh material feels great, like quality nylon or polyester, whatever it is made of, no rips, tears, or signs of frays anywhere. The buttons, just like all that look like this, are a bit on the harder side to push down. I suppose that is necessary to prevent accidental button changes since the device is portable. LEDs are bright and clear, not blinding.

    If there’s one thing to gripe about, it appears this unit is designed to stand on one end. Saw a guy online that laid it down with the buttons facing up. But mine kept rolling to where the front label pointed downwards, upside down, like loaded dice in Vegas, and buttons on the back side where I can’t see it. It’s really meant for standing imo. Oh, I guess, the extra bass button, was listening to Boston’s Hitch a Ride, as they have nice intricate bass guitar, could not really tell the difference. I don’t really have musical ears, but didn’t really hear a difference.

    So for this price range, it does appear the 30w speakers can handle high volume, and it is loud. My previous 20w, slightly smaller unit would crackle at around 60/100 volume. My speaker is gray, nice and pleasant, not too bright or dull or sad, very neutral. I would label this speaker a can recommend.

    Like a lot of others, I have bought several portable Bluetooth speakers looking for that elusive diamond in the rough (good volume, good connection, decent battery life, some bass, and decent sound quality).

    Pros:
    Good battery life (at least for me)
    Lots of connection options
    Decent volume

    Cons:
    Sound quality is OK
    Some uneven coloring of the mesh (minor issue)

    I will start with build quality/impressions. It looks nice and fit of parts is good. I got the gray version and there is some discolorations visible from the adhesive used for the mesh material. Is it enough to send back? No, because it will eventually get dirty.

    Sound is loud for the size. Bass is OK – punchier than many in the $30-$40 range but it does struggle to get low. My 8 year old HDMX Jam Heavy Metal blows it away but it cost double. I am hopeful as it breaks in it will improve some. The Bass button is good for an alternative EQ settings but it pretty much just filters the mids and highs. That is not necessarily a bad thing but it does decrease the overall volume. A custom EQ app can help and get more out of the speaker versus the button but it ‘works’. Without it, the upper mids can get a bit harsh but with it, it almost filters those frequencies a bit too much making it sound a bit muted/muddy.

    For the price (especially when around 30) – it’s an ok option. The connections are nice, it pairs well and connectivity is good. If you want more bass, you will want to probably step up to something larger or more expensive (and may lose some volume). Longevity is TBD. I have been getting decent battery life while breaking it in via pink noise.

    I would love to give these 5 stars but pairing both speakers for stereo is klugey and unreliable and I have all but given up trying. I have relegated these to standalone bathroom duty which is disappointing because I had wanted to use them outside in stereo at the barbecue.

    Next time I will buy portable bluetooth speakers that automatically pair in stereo without the faffing that these require.

I have mini speakers, and this is quite a bit bigger with much better sound quality. I was really impressed with how loud and clear it was. I think it has decent bass, but I don’t listen to heavy bass music. There is a button to turn extra bass on and off, but the bass sounds the same either way. What I hear change is the treble. The voices just get louder and clearer, but I can’t really tell if it’s when the bass is turned on or when it’s turned off. There is no indicator when it’s on or off, so I have no idea. This paired easily, and the sound effects were pretty cool. It includes an option to connect via aux cord vs bluetooth. The lights can be turned off on this to help the battery last longer. The exterior is made of some kind of tightly woven fabric, which reduced its durability. You have to be careful not to let rub against anything rough or it will snag. The light color will also show dirt, and I’m not sure how you would clean it. Overall, this is a decent quality speaker for the price.

    I expected the sound quality to be a bit better than it was. Instead it was muffled but not crisp. Good for vocal oriented use such as podcasts. If you want nice clear sounding music these won’t give you that. I’d recommend spending the extra money for a JBL quality product. This gets loud enough but musical sound is simply not truly enjoyable. Just ok. This product won’t impress you or anybody in the space. It is a handsome product though.
    Instructions are easy enough to follow. Enters bluetooth pairing more upon start up. Pairs quickly. Mode selection does not indicate which mode you are switching to with a voice prompt. Instead you get a sound. That can be confusing at times. Reads SD card well. Charges well. Has charging led. When light goes out it means it’s fully charged. This will get you by if you’re not demanding. But there’s better ones out there.

    Nice speaker with a pretty good max volume, the bass is kind of lacking even with “enhanced bass” mode on. Controls are easy to use and the buttons are easy to press.
    One annoying thing is that it doesn’t have any base to rest on so it just rolls around, it’s also heavy on one side so it will always roll to the other side which, consequently, partially blocks the speakers.
    It took a while to charge at first (4-5hrs) but it holds battery pretty well so I just charge it after each use to reduce the charging time.
    Overall a pretty good speaker with a good max volume and holds a charge pretty well. The only downside is trying to find somewhere to set it down without it rolling around.

    The items will be sent back to Walmart for replacement. There was only one time they would pair. 4 other times tried did not connect. Several attempts were made to repeat the procedure for connection. When the worked at first try, Sound and stereo effect were clear and powerful for the small speakers. I would recommend trying them. Hopefully, someone else will get a good set to start with. The choice is yours.

    I have a 4 year old JBL flip I use by pool and the battery isn’t keeping charged like it use to. I was going to get 2 updated JBL flip and saw these for half the price and with good reviews. The quality of sound isn’t as good and they “skip”/go out for about a second about every 15 minutes, so I’m a little disappointed in them. And its not because I have them too far from my phone its even being 5 feet away. I put them in exact same place as my JBL and have tried closer and still goes out for a second.

    This has got to be the strongest rechargable battery ever. Im blown away by how long this thing lasts at full blast. I would recommend this item just based off that alone. It lasts me between 20 and 24 hours of continuous playtime max volume INSANE!!! Ok on to the rest of this items quirks and features. In the package you get everything needed to listen to this play. Mine was actually not charged when it arrived but I gave it a full charge before use. It comes with a decent quality type c to USB-A cable and instructions along with the cheesiest lanyard I’ve ever seen. The lanyard is nothing more than a literal shoelace lol but it doesn’t effect my desirability of this item. If it was me I’d just left the lanyard out of the packaging instead of adding the shoelace.

    Build quality is top notch. The ends are siliconed in with a rubber cap allowing it to flex with the base. It also has color LEDs that sync with the music inside on the ends of the tube and the center part of the main tube is made of heavy duty type fabric that is adhered to some solid material. Unfortunately there is no control of the light effect or brightness or being able to power the light on or off. Sometimes I wanted to have the lights off to keep from looking so extra but that option isn’t available. The main speakers is omnidirectional meaning you can hear it well from any direction it’s sitting in but it does have a better sounding side. The sound quality is amazing but with exceptions, with he bass boost on I feel like the speakers rattle a little bit but with it off it’s AMAZING. With it off it has the cleanest clearest sound and plenty loud enough. My biggest concern with new speakers is if they are loud and crisp enough and this one passes the test.

    Pros- plenty loud, clean sound, great Bluetooth distance and speed of connectivity, no lag or out of sync sound from my phone to my speaker, BATTERY LIFE, build quality, smooth well blended lights.

    Cons- silly shoestring lanyard, bass boost messes with sound, inability to turn off or change the color lights.

    I’d recommend this product to everyone in my family and I feel like this would be a great wise item to purchase if you wanted a speaker with a good sound quality that last forever.

    I have a drawer full of bluetooth speakers at this point and the double-ended feature of this, along with the form factor, got me to try this one out. Controls are basic but functional. The bass boost does seem to help, but obviously physics of the cone size means it will still struggle at the very low end. The sound is decent, much better than phone speakers obviously, but struggles a bit with the bass boost engaged…it sounds a bit muddier. I have yet to dunk the speaker, but it’s gotten splashed a few times at the pool and hasn’t stopped working. At around $30, this is a solid choice.

    This is a really decent speaker for the price. Pretty loud, the lights are a nice effect but I also like that you can turn the lights off. I haven’t dunked it under the water but I did run it under a faucet to check out the waterproof claim and the water has had no effect on the speaker at all. still works exactly how it did before. It was really easy to connect to my phone via bluetooth, and the controls on the speaker are easy to use but you can also just use your phone. The “bass” boost is the only part I find lacking. When you use that function, while there is a little more bass, not much, it does significantly decrease the treble. Because of that, the volume seems lower. For me, thats a bit of a detractor but nothing that bad that I won’t still use it.

    My wife wanted a Bluetooth speaker for Christmas so I did not shopping around and found this one on Walmart; and it also had some good reviews. I went ahead and ordered it and gave it to her for Christmas. We were amazed at the sound quality and how easy it was to insert a micro SD card with tons of music on it. We were so happy with the quality that we ordered another one; so if you have 2 of them you can connect them together via Bluetooth and have surround sound. Works great with a smartphone or micro SD card, the radio works ok if you have a charging cord attached to use as an antenna and are close to any radio signal. Again, very impressed and I would buy again.

    Love this speaker. It is small and easy to use. However, I wish that the thumb drive was a little bit further from the charging port as it can’t be charged with it in. If I had known that, I might not have purchased it, however, it works great, has incredible clarity and sound.     I’ve had it about a month, and I don’t love it. I wanted something loud enough to hear the quiet parts of an audiobook over the sound of my sewing machine, or to carry around the house as I clean. It is loud, but sound quality is not great at high volume.

    That said, the primary reason for the 2-star rating is the battery life. On a full charge, it only lasts 3 – 4 hours – that’s with no disco lights and roughly 60% volume. It’s also bigger and heavier than I expected.
    I certainly don’t want to carry it around (or hang off it a backpack like in the picture). The best use is as a stationary, plugged in speaker on a shelf/table.

    I probably should have returned it, but the battery life was ok on the first charge so I figured I’d make it work and threw away the box. The charge has progressively gotten shorter over the last several weeks, and now it’s too late to return it. Very frustrating.

    The speakers will show on your computer as – Rienook S1 mini.

    To differentiate my speakers … l renamed my BLUE speaker as Rienook S1mini-BLUE and the other as Rienook S1 mini.

    I know, not very original, NO HATERS PLSE.

    2. Now, “disconnect” both speakers from your computer by LONG pressing the “PLAY” button on both speakers.

    THIS is not POWER DOWN/TURN OFF

    3. Now choose one speaker. This will be your designated LEFT speaker. The other will be the RIGHT speaker.

    4. Now “quickly” press the +- buttons simultaneously on your selected speaker. You will hear a tone, and the blinking blue power indicator will stop and remain steady.

    The first time l pressed +- …too long but … press simultaneously and quickly, hear a tone and you’re done.

    5. You are now PAIRED.

    6. Select your speaker that you pressed +- on your computer.

    7. Now you know why you need to rename on of your speakers

    ROCK ON ????.

    Surprisingly powerful for the size and price, the lights can be turned off by double pressing the the play button to save battery. Also you can check the battery level by double pressing the power button, you’ll see the led of the speaker turn green, yellow or red depending on the battery level. You can also reset the whole speaker by holding the power button for 8 seconds or more if you’re having connection problems.

    Way too many silly sound effects when turning on the speaking. Speaking of turning it on, one has to hold down the power button for so long, that you’ll age a year or two. The sound, which is fine, emanates from the side of the tube, not the ends, which appear to be speakers, but are just for show.

    We bought this to use for the projector in our bedroom, but we took it on a camping trip last weekend. It got dropped in the river because someone had a wet grip from floating the river. Speaker instantly quit working. False advertising at it’s finest.

    I absolutely love this little speaker. It has worked to awesome! It is truly waterproof, and I have tested that several times while kayaking and camping.
    The only reason for the 3 star – Now that it is literally 13 months old, the Bluetooth won’t work. Super frustrating. Thankfully it does have a wired option to at least keep using it.

    Wish the Bluetooth still worked though. Now it is not water worthy for me. But, for the cost, I will probably buy another one.

    I initially purchased 1 Reinok 30 watt speaker to see if it lived up to the Walmart reviews. I will say it did indeed. Very good sound quality for the size. If you are into a lot of bass this may not be the speaker for you. The bass up button does add some, not much, but the sound is really good. The Reinok lived up to my expectation for a $30 dollar speaker. A week later I purchase a second speaker to pair for true stereo sound. I must say it does enhance the sound having 2 speakers equalling a total of 60 total watts.
    The one glitch I found was pairing the 2 speakers isn’t easy, and the instructions in the booklet were somewhat lacking. I didn’t want to return the speakers as they are a very good value for the money. I called Walmart, in turn my call was forwarded to Rienok Tech Support. The technician was great, and very helpful in pairing the two speakers. Thus far it appears to be an excellent purchase.

    We have used this product at home and outdoors. When it connects to someone’s device, the sound is fantastic, the lights are a fun bonus. The only issue we have encountered is it connected to one of our phones several times, then no longer would. It would connect to someone else’s phone so we just switched which device we were using, but it is unfortunate for the person whose device would no longer connect. The battery lasts a long time too. I’m not sure a solid number of hours, but we had it in a different location for a weekend without charging it and were able to use it most of our waking hours.

    I’ve been doing yoga in my living room for sometime now and my old portable speaker died and this ended up being a pretty great replacement. The sound was loud and clear enough for me to enjoy my music during the workouts and it was easy to pair and sync up to my phone for music. I haven’t been able to test the waterproof aspect of the product so I can’t offer much to say there but for a solid portable speaker this is pretty great!

    The True Wireless Stereo feature is excellent. I can sit between two speakers and it sounds like I’m wearing virtual headphones. Also, the bluetooth connectivity is excellent. The battery life is very good, though It would be nice if there was a visible battery charge indicator. The clarity is very good even at high volume. I would highly recommend that you buy a PAIR of these speakers to enable the True Wireless Stereo.
